Norsechem (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. (NSSB)
was incorporated on 13 March 1980 on a joint venture between Permodalan Bumiputra Sabah (PBSB) (60 percent), a Sabah Government agency and Hexza Corporation Berhad (HCB) (40 percent), a public listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.
On 6 June 1996, Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (ICSB), the investment arm of the Group, bought 51 percent of the company's share, thus under the new structure, PBSB is holding 29.4 percent equity, HCB 19.6 percent and ICSB 51 percent.
The company manufactures formalin and different types of resin for the woodworking industries in Sabah. The factory is located at Jalan Batu Sapi, Karamunting, Sandakan.
